Hi everyone,

Thanks for visiting our site!

If you've gotten this far, you probably know that Jeff and I decided to run a marathon. That's right. In four months, we will be running 26.2 miles, with an ambitious time goal of under 4hrs to boot.

Why? Why, you must wonder, would two people willingly put themselves through such pain?

Well, most of you probably don't know our friend Denise Bertholin. Denise is only 29 years old and was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) on May 7, 2009, just a few weeks short of her wedding. The faith and incredible strength she has shown as she battles this disease have truly inspired us.

On October 25, 2009 we are running the Silicon Valley Marathon in Denise's name and in an effort to raise funds to help her win this fight. The cost of her treatment can exceed one million dollars, so we decided to do our part--and hope that you can help too!

Your contribution would mean a lot to all of us who love Denise and want to see her well again. Please take a moment to make a donation by using the "Donate" button on the left. You can use your own Paypal account or quickly create a new one to make a contribution.

Thanks in advance for your support and please keep checking this site for updates on our training!

Denise, our thoughts and our prayers are with you. Stay strong!

~ Jeff & Natascha
